Nepal’s ambassador to India thanks Indian govt for rescue assistance

New Delhi, April 26 (ANI): The Nepal’s Ambassador to India, Deep Upadhyay, on Sunday thanked the Indian Government for its assistance for rescue and relief operations after earthquake hit Nepal and parts of Northern India. Upadhyay said that the two governments have interacted well with each other and India is the first to send help to Nepal in these times of crisis. He also said that many people are stranded and stuck under debris and need to be pulled out. Upadhyay further confirmed that nearly 1800 people have died and more than 5000 injured.
