One jawan killed as CISF personnel, airport employees clash at Kozhikode airport

Kozhikode, June 11 (ANI): A clash between CISF personnel and airport officials at the Karipur International airport in Kozhikode last night led to the death of one jawan due to gunshot wounds and caused injuries to three others. The officials belonged to the fire force department of the Airport Authority of India (AAI). As per reports, the Airport Authority Employees’ Union (AAEU) claimed that excessive frisking by CISF staff led to clash. All flights from the airport were diverted to Kochi last night although the Kerala Home Minister has assured that the situation is normal now and flight operations have resumed.
