Operation Sankat Mochan: 71 Indian nationals reach Delhi

New Delhi, July 15 (ANI): The first batch of Indian nationals, who were evacuated from the war-torn Juba in South Sudan, landed at the Delhi airport under VK Singh-led Operation Sankat Mochan on Friday morning. Minister of State for External Affairs, VK Singh flew to Juba early Thursday morning with two C-17 Indian Air Force aircraft to ensure the early evacuation of the Indians. Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Vijay Goel was also in attendance to receive VK Singh and the rescued people who took a halt at Thiruvananthapuram.
