New Delhi/ Noida, Jan 19 (ANI): Major political parties snubbed the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday (January 19) after it inducted former IPS officer and social activist, Kiran Bedi, ahead of polls in Delhi. Bedi was one of the core members of social activist Anna Hazare’s team and supported him throughout his fight against corruption and formulation of an Ombudsman Act. AAP leader Ashutosh said the decision to induct Bedi would backfire on BJP. Congress leader PC Chacko also said Bedi would prove to be a liability to BJP. BJP leaders Jagdish Mukhi and Harsh Vardhan have defended the move and said Bedi would infuse party workers. Polls in Delhi will be held on February 07 and results will be declared on February 10.
