Amritsar (Punjab), June 08 : Pakistan’s malicious design to propagate anti-India sentiments among the people has been exposed. On the occasion of 33rd anniversary of Operation Blue Star in Amritsar, the radical Sikh outfit Dal Khalsa observed bandh at the behest of its Pakistan-based operatives. The military operation was carried out in 1984 to flush out heavily armed terrorist holed up in the Golden Temple. Pro-Khalistan elements in Punjab are making attempts to revive militancy. However, the security agencies are active to foil their bid. Recently, police nabbed some members of banned organization, International Sikh Youth Forum (ISYF) who were trying to spread unrest in the state by the means of violence. It was revealed after the investigation that the module had links from Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) of Pakistan and members were trained on Pakistani Soil. This is not an unprecedented case but Pakistan has always constantly been designing nefarious activities against India by brainwashing the susceptible and vulnerable youth of Punjab. Pakistan is providing logistic and financial support to pro-Khalistan separatists, who are settled in United States, Canada and other countries in the West. India has exposed Pakistan’s malicious designs to create instability in Punjab. On several occasions, India has raised its concerns over the issue of pro-Khalistan separatists with its allies and has requested them to bust their nexus.
