Panda, deer frolic in snow
Now THIS is making the best of winter.
Giant panda Tian Tian made his own version of snow angels at Washington D.C.’s National Zoo… as a blizzard brought the rest of the city to a standstill.
Maybe that’s too harsh. These deer certainly couldn’t stand still. They were seen prancing through a D.C. neighborhood on Saturday morning, as the snow continued to fall.

These folks in South Korea helped mark the upcoming Year of the Monkey.
A monkey school in Goyang has trained them well… and the crowd seemed pleased by all their monkey business.
Here’s a lucky seven. Organizers say these breeds will be able to compete — for the first time — in the upcoming Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.
It’s deemed one of the most prestigious canine competitions in the U.S.
But of all these furry friends, who will be top dog?
Just around the corner, the 12th annual Puppy Bowl — founded as a way to raise awareness of pet adoption.
But this is just a sneak peak. The game will premiere Feb 7th to coincide with the OTHER big event… with much bigger athletes.
