Mumbai, July 09 (ANI):Women and child welfare minister of Maharashtra, Pankaja Munde, accused of providing adulterated food to school children in a multi-billion rupee scam, got some reprieve as lab tests of the food samples came out clean. Munde has been in the line of fire since June 24, when it was accused that food provided under her tenure as minister to students in government schools of Ahmednagar district was adulterated. Food samples were since sent to five government laboratories for testing, out of which two lab reports gave a clean chit to Munde saying the samples have been found to be unadulterated and fit for consumption. Munde said she was satisfied with the reports.
