Aurangabad, July 21 (ANI): The Maharashtra Association of Resident Doctors (MARD) has threatened to go on indefinite strike from Tuesday morning if the police fails to arrest three accused who allegedly beat up resident doctors after the death of a patient. Relatives of a deceased patient, who was suffering from a stroke attacked the on duty doctor Sunil Kamble of medicine department, of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). MARD President Vikram Rathod filed a police complaint with the Begumpura police and threatened that if the three prime accused are not arrested within 24 hours, MARD would go on a strike from Tuesday morning. Reportedly, this is the third instance of assault on a doctor this month in the state, and the tenth so far this year.
