Story: Pilots and parachute jumpers from the U.S. military and other groups rehearsed their stunts on Friday (August 19) on the Chicago lake front, as they prepare for the 58th annual Chicago Air and Water Show. The program’s website calls it the largest free air and water exhibition in the country. The website says up to two million people are expected to watch the program, either live on the waterfront or on its television broadcast.

The program features some of the top civilian and military pilots and aircraft in the U.S. Biennially, the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds headline the program along with the U.S. Army Parachute Team Golden Knights and the U.S. Navy Leap Frogs.

The program runs Saturday and Sunday on the Chicago lake front.
