PM Modi, Afghan President Ghani issue joint statement Part – 2
New Delhi, April 28 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani on Tuesday issued a joint statement after holding delegation level meeting. Modi said that India shares Afghanistan’s pain over persisting terror and violence. He said that the Indians admire the courage and resolve of Afghan people to seek a future of peace and prosperity. He also assured that India stands with the people of Afghanistan as they prepare to build a stable, united, democratic and prosperous nation. Meanwhile, Afghan President Ashraf Ghani expressed his deepest sympathies to the people of Nepal after the natural calamity. Ghani said that Afghanistan is determined to change regional nature of co-operation adding that shadow of terror continues to haunt all residents of the country.
