New Delhi, Apr 26 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday chaired his eighteenth interaction through the ICT-based, multi-modal ‘Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation’ (PRAGATI). In the meeting, PM Modi reviewed the progress towards the handling and resolution of grievances related to Railways.After observing a large numbers of complaints that were related to corrupt practices of the officials, PM directed strictest possible action against the Railway officials who are found guilty of corruption. Embarking zero tolerance policy towards corruption, Modi asked the Indian Railways officials to work towards a unified single telephone number for all the grievances and queries, including helpline in the case accidents. Besides this he also reviewed the progress of vital infrastructure projects in the railway, road and power sectors in various states.
