Pm Modi Reaches Australia To Participate In G-20 Summit
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Brisbane to attend the G-20 Summit. This will be the first visit by any Indian PM to Australia in the last two decades. Former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi had visited the country in 1986.
PM MODI REACHES AUSTRALIA TO PARTICIPATE IN G-20 SUMMIT
Modi left for Brisbane yesterday after attending the ASEAN-India summit and the East Asia Summit on November 12-13 in Myanmar.
After the summit, Modi will proceed to Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne during the course of his bilateral visit from November 16 to 18. During his stay in Australia, Modi will hold talks with Prime Minister Tony Abbott in Canberra. Abbott will host a reception for Modi at the iconic 161-year-old Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). Modi will also address a joint sitting of Federal Parliament.
