Politicians react over PM Modi meeting Shareef in Lahore
New Delhi/Chandigarh, Des 25 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be meeting his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Shareef after the visit to Russia for the 16th Annual summit in Lahore on Friday.
BJP leader, Nalin Kohli said that if the two countries can try to have a positive approach and workout the relations, it should be welcomed.
Congress Leader, Manesh Tiwari said that the relationship between India and Pakistan is the most complex relationship between two nuclear weapon states. The Prime Minister will have to answer the grounds of his visit to Lahore.
CPI Leader, D Raja said that the Prime Minister visiting Lahore is a surprise and it is an important meeting as both the Prime Ministers are meeting for the first time in Pakistan.
Janata Dal United, JDU Leader KC Tyagi said that he was expecting the Prime minister to bring back Dawood Ibrahim and Hafiz Saeed on his visit to Lahore, but was disappointed that Prime Minister Modi is meeting Nawaf Shareef.
