Sharing is Caring

Allahabad, Oct 21 (ANI): With pulses’ price shooting through the roof across the country, saints and priests on Wednesday performed yajna to appease rain god in Allahabad. The prices of pulses touched a new high after the onion prices cooled down. Pulses – a key source of protein in a largely vegetarian country – are now beyond the reach of the common man with some of the pulses varieties selling at Rs 200 ($ 3.07) per kilogram. An organisation representing Hindu and Sikh saints has been organising prayers to appease the rain god for the past nine days. On Wednesday, it concluded the prayers by organising sacrificial.
