Rahul Gandhi, Ravi Shankar Prasad lock horns over net neutrality
New Delhi, April 22 (ANI): Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday said he expected Prime Minister Narendra Modi to lend his support to the net-neutrality issue after being supported by social media users. Speaking on the net neutrality issue in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi said “Government wants to distribute the internet among big industrialists. Over one million people are fighting for net neutrality and the government is trying to carve out the net and hand it over to the corporates.” Meanwhile, replying back to Rahul Gandhi ‘s statement, Union Minister for Communications and Information Technology Ravi Shankar Prasad said that the BJP Government will ensure non-discriminatory availability of internet.
