Rescuers detect life signs; make rescue plans at Shenzhen landslide site
China, Dec 22 (ANI): The rescuers of the China landslide are developing plans to rescue people after locating the places where life signs were detected in Shenzhen City of China’s Guangdong province. The landslide, which hit the Hengtaiyu industrial park in the city’s Guangming district on Sunday, has left 85 people missing. Rescue personnel and lighting facilities have been dispatched to the accident site successively to ensure continuous rescue work. Over 660 armed police and 40 large machines were part of the rescue operation to evacuate over 900 people, relocate 1,500 nearby residents and repair 11 sections of collapsed roads. A total of 16 people, who were injured during the accident, were admitted to hospitals in Shenzhen on Monday and some of them are recovering. Medical personnel composed of experts from Beijing and others appointed by the Guangdong Health and Family Planning Commission are observing the conditions of the injured.
