Residents vacate homes after fresh tremors felt in parts of West Bengal, Bihar bordering Nepal

Siliguri, April 27 (ANI): Bihar and West Bengal witnessed fresh tremors at around 6.20 pm on Monday. 5.1 magnitude aftershocks were felt in Nepal’s Ilam area that also rattled parts of Bihar and West Bengal. Saturday’s earthquake in Nepal, which measured 7.9 on the Richter scale, resulted in the deaths of over 4000 people, while more than 50 were killed in India. The calamity, one of the worst in over 80 years, is followed by 55 aftershocks.
