Robbers loot 50 lakh at gunpoint in Agra

Agra, Dec 29 (ANI): Cash worth Rs. 50 lakh was looted from a cattle trader in Kagarol area of Uttar Pradesh’s Agra district. The criminals allegedly smashed into the trader’s car and took the cash from him at gunpoint. Later, the criminals fled in an Innova car. However, they met with an accident following which they left the car behind and ran away. The incident took place near Nagla Jheelra under Kagarol Police Station late on Monday night. Chanda alias Bhalla, a resident of Kagarol, had withdrawn Rs. 50 lakh from the Axis Bank in Agra’s Sanjay Place. The police is investigating the matter.
