Rupees five lakh looted from ATM cash van

New Delhi, Dec 20 (ANI): A group of robbers looted rupees 5, 00,000 from an ATM cash van when it had stopped to replenish an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) in Delhi. The incident took place when the driver of the van got out with a bag to put the cash in at an ATM, which is when three motorbike-borne youth arrived and one of them snatched the bag from the driver before fleeing from the spot. Deputy Commissioner of Delhi Police, Om Veer Bishnoi, said the suspects opened fire before fleeing. The driver couldn’t see their faces because the suspects were wearing helmets. Delhi police has formed teams to trace the robbers.
