Salvadoran family told to leave U.S., facing “chaos” back home
Seventeen years after being granted Temporary Protected Status (TPS) in the United States, Salvadoran Ruben Hernandez has been told that he and his children must leave. He’s among 300,000 people with TPS who have built a life in the U.S. but, under Trump administration guidelines, must prepare to return to their home countries.
