SC slams ICC chairman N Srinivasan over IPL match fixing
New Delhi, Nov 24 (ANI): The Supreme Court has slammed International Cricket Council (ICC) Chairman N Srinivasan on Monday over corruption in the Indian Premier League (IPL) Twenty20 competition. The Court asked the suspended BCCI president N Srinivasan how he could own an IPL team while remaining head of the cricket establishment in the country. Meanwhile, head of the probe committee, retired Justice Mukul Mudgal, however, refused to comment on the matter. In March, Srinivasan, regarded as the world’s most powerful cricket administrator, was called on by the apex court to leave his post at the BCCI to ensure a fair investigation into the IPL Scam. Srinivasan stood down in June.
