Senior citizens lined up outside banks to withdraw, exchange money
Hyderabad/ Nagpur, Nov 19 (ANI): Senior citizens lined up outside banks in Hyderabad and Nagpur to withdraw and exchange money on Saturday morning. One of the senior citizens said that Rs. 2000 is not enough for a common man. He also said that such a big step (demonetisation) cannot be taken overnight. He added that India is a democratic country so decision should be taken considering everyone in mind. Banks today will only exchange old 500 and 1,000 rupee notes for their own customers, and not for people who hold accounts in other banks. Senior citizens are however exempted from this rule and they can go to any bank to exchange their old currency for new notes. On Sunday, banks will remain shut.
