STORY: A zookeeper at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden took a video of two red pandas having the time of their lives during a snow day on Thursday (February 20).

Rover, a 9-year-old male and Lin, a 2-year-old female, took leaps at one another and wiggled around in the fluffy white stuff.

But not everyone across the Midwest having as much fun as the two cuddly pandas, with a frigid blast sending morning temperatures to record or near-record lows in the region, meteorologists said.

The endangered red pandas are native to cool temperate bamboo forests in China and the foothills of the Himalayas.
