Sharing is Caring

Kolkata, Aug 26 (ANI): The 106th birth anniversary of Mother Teresa, the founder of the Catholic congregation ‘Missionaries of Charity’, is being celebrated today. Special prayers were held in Missionaries of Charity on the birth anniversary in Kolkata. She came to India in 1929 and began her training in Darjeeling. She learnt Bengali near her convent and started teaching at St. Teresa’s School. She loved teaching, but the poverty in Calcutta disturbed her very much. She became Teresa at the time of her first religious vows.
