‘Sporty’ Abhishek Bachchan aims to start Pro-Kabaddi League for women

New Delhi, Jan 22 (ANI): Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan’s interest in sport has grown in the past few years and that is visible with his purchase of two teams, Chennaiyin FC in the Hero Indian Super League and Jaipur Pink Panthers in Star Sport’s Pro Kabaddi League. However, it looks like his appetite for sports is not getting fulfilled as he has an ambition to start a Pro Kabaddi League for women. Abhishek said that for him, Kabaddi as well as Football are serious business and something that he has really worked hard for. He added the minute everyone will take sports seriously, the country can dominate the world of sports.The Star Sports’ Pro Kabaddi League is all set to storm stadiums and television screens across India with its Season 3 beginning January 30, 2016. The season will begin with a match in Vizag and the playoffs will take place at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi on the March 4 and 5, 2016 with the largest indoor setup in the history of the league.
