Sharing is Caring

Srinagar, April 28 (ANI): Taking forward Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ambitious Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Mission), 100 school students in Kashmir took out a cleanliness rally recently. As a part of the rally, students raised slogans, swept roads, collected garbage littered on the roadside and dumped it in dustbins. The rally organiser, Harpreet, said the rally aimed to encourage children to keep their surroundings clean. She added that similar rallies were being regularly organised since the last one and a half month. PM Modi has said that every home and school should have access to a toilet by 2019, in time for the 150th anniversary of Gandhi’s birth.
