Sunanda Pushkar case: Radiations were within safety norms, says Bassi

New Delhi, Nov 11 (ANI): Delhi Police commissioner BS Bassi on Wednesday said that radiations were within safety norms in Sunanda Pushkar death case. The Delhi police received a report from the FBI’s forensic lab in connection with the mysterious death of Sunanda Pushkar. Sunanda Pushkar’s viscera samples were sent to US after AIIMS doctors had said that Indian labs lacked facility to identify the poison which caused her death. Delhi Police have constituted a special investigative team to probe the death of Pushkar. Pushkar, the wife of former Union minister Shashi Tharoor, was found dead in a luxury hotel in Delhi on January 17, 2014. Police have said she was poisoned.
