Teens Self-Immolation Bid Triggers Panic In Faridabad School
Panic reached from a Faridabad school to Delhi’s Safdarjung hospital in an ambulance in which an eight class student, who resorted to immolate himself for reason best known to him only, was brought.
TEENS SELF-IMMOLATION BID TRIGGERS PANIC IN FARIDABAD SCHOOL
An eight standard student set himself on fire in Holy Child Public School campus in Faridabad on Wednesday. The teen, who has reportedly sustained 45 percent burn injuries, was rushed to Delhi’s Safdarjung Hospital for immediate medical attention.
Spilling the beans, school principal Deepak Rai said the boy, who had brought petrol along with him to school, rushed to washroom after morning assembly
However, the reason of his suicide bid is yet to be ascertained. The principal said teen’s school fees has been waived off as his father went to heaven.
Speaking over how the teenager boy could enter school campus with a bottle of petrol in his bag, the principal said though students’ bags are regularly checked yet it was not possible to check every bag before morning assembly.
Currently, the teen has been recuperating in the critical care unit of Delhi’s Safdarjung hospital, where his mother, grandmother, maternal uncle, etc. are waiting for his sooner recovery. The doctors have kept the child under observation.
