Telangana CM KCR lays foundation stone of Reddy Hostel Complex

Hyderabad (Telangana), Aug 23 (ANI): Telangana Chief Minister KCR on Tuesday laid foundation stone of Reddy Hostel Complex at Budvel Mandal in Rangareddy district. After the programme, the Telangana Chief Minister addressed the gathering and remembered the greatness of Raja Bahadur Venkata Rama Reddy. The CM talked about how he struggled in his life and succeeded in becoming a great police officer. Reddy, the former police chief of Hyderabad during the Nizam’s rule, was a social reformer who had taken up the cause of educating poor students from rural areas, including girls by establishing educational institutions along with hostel facilities in Hyderabad. Recalling Reddy, Chief Minister Rao said Reddy always thought of poor people. He also established many educational institutions in Telugu medium. The State Government has allotted 10 acres land and Rs.10 crore financial assistance under special development fund for building the facility at Budvel
