New Delhi, Jan 25 (ANI): President Francois Hollande in New Delhi on Monday said France would not be deterred by threats of terrorism and will always protect the values for which the country stands.Hollande was reacting to questions about a video published on Sunday by the media centre of Islamic State purported to show images and last statements of nine of the people who took part in the Paris attacks that killed 130 people on November 13. Hollande said his government would take all the measures protect the values, which France stood for. France will not be deterred by any kind of threats of terrorism. We will take all measures that are required to protect democracy. Therefore, the decision that was taken to extend the period of emergency in France, so that we can take all the necessary measures — we will always protect the values for which France stands. The video was uploaded to Islamic State’s official Telegram channel and showed some of the attackers wearing camouflage fatigues in a desert location, before the time of the Paris attacks.
