STORY: Po, the Kung Fu Panda of the animation franchise is back for a third outing and Jack Black, who voices the bumbling martial arts heroic bear, couldn’t be more happy saying he loves the job and because he gets to go to work in his PJ’s. However, his enthusiasm for the job isn’t echoed by his co-star Dustin Hoffman, who voices Po’s mentor Shifu, who said it wasn’t fun and the process is the opposite of what most actors learn in terms of their trade. All of Po’s animal gang are back, with Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Monkey (Jackie Chan), Viper (Lucy Liu), Mantis (Seth Rogen) and Crane (David Cross) setting off on a new adventure. There are additions to the roster with Oscar nominee Bryan Cranston taking on the role of Po’s long lost father Li. Another new edition is Mei Mei, a chubby panda dancer. She was originally supposed to be voiced by Rebel Wilson who had to drop out because of production schedules. She was replaced by Kate Hudson who fell in love with the character instantly. ‘Kung Fu Panda 3’ goes on release in North America on January 29.
