To safeguard schools, government teachers on night duty in Kashmir Valley

Sharing is Caring

Srinagar, Nov 12 (ANI): As burning of schools continue, the Jammu and Kashmir Government has issued a circular asking its lower-rung employees and even teachers to safeguard educational institutes by working in night shifts. In the last few weeks, 32 schools in the Kashmir Valley were set ablaze. Though teachers and students have welcomed the step taken by the government for the safety of schools, many are annoyed by this order as it will risk their lives. Meanwhile, lady staffers have been exempted from the night duty.
