Tourists flock to Asia’s biggest tulip garden in Kashmir

Srinagar, April 25 (ANI): Tourists from all over the world enjoyed picturesque view of Asia’s largest tulip garden in Jammu and Kashmir. Located on the foothills of the Zabarwan hill in capital Srinagar and overlooking the famous Dal lake, the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden was thrown open to visitors earlier this month. The state government hopes to boost tourism through the garden. As per reports, the garden has over one hundred varieties of the flower in different colours spread over 12 hectares. Tourists were seen walking through the rows of tulips, taking photos and enjoying the sunny weather in the valley. Many compared it to the tulip garden in Holland, saying it was definitely paradise on earth.
