New Delhi, Oct 29 (ANI): Telecom sector regulator TRAI on Thursday will meet telecom operators again shortly on issues concerning call drops. Telecom players met the TRAI Chairman RS Sharma who told them that on-road tests would be conducted in Delhi, Mumbai, and five other cities in December. On the regulation of compensation (to consumers on each call drop with a cap of Rs. 3 per day) from January 1, the regulator said the regulation remains the same. Rajan Mathews, Director-General, Cellular Operators’ Association of India (COAI), said it will wait for two weeks for a TRAI response and would then take a call on whether to move TDSAT.
