Villagers in Kashmir panic as Pakistan forces open fire

Hiranagar, April 21: Hundreds of residents were in a state of panic after Pakistani forces targeted their villages along the de-facto border in Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistani rangers had targeted Hariyachak, Pansar and Pahadpur villages in Hiranagar sector of Kathua district. No casualties have been reported in the firing. Showing mortar shells which hit their villages, locals said the people were scared due to firing. Some of the residents have left the villages with their children for safer places. Border Security Force also retaliated resulting in heavy exchange of firing.
