Vintage car exhibition honours Pakistan history
Karachi, Nov 22 (ANI): A vintage car rally preserving Pakistan’s history actuated from Karachi’s longest road Shara-e-Faisal. The sixth annual vintage classic car rally initiating from HASCOL energy station included one of the most prominent cars from around the world from at least ten decades ago. The car manufacturers included a Buick 1947, MGY, Chevrolet, Ford, Cadillac, Jaguar, Mercedez, Rolls Royce and other brands. One of the organizers of the Vintage Car Rally, Saad Samad said that the purpose of the Rally and Exposition was to stimulate peace messages across the country. Another organizer of the Classic elite car event, Mohsin Ikram illustrated vintage vehicles as a portion of the region’s history of the past century. At the first check point, sponsors of the rally Hescol’s COO Saleem Butt and General Manager marketing Zafar Manshi bid farewell to the participants of the rally. The first starting point of the rally was from Karachi to Hyderabad leading towards Punjab Province of Pakistan, Rahim Yar Khan, Multan, Lahore, Islamabad, Bhurban which will culminate in Peshawar.
