Five-time chess world champion Viswanathan Anand had a mixed bag 2014 where he suffered a huge defeat against World No1 and current World Champion Magnus Carlsen of Norway in the World Championship match at Sochi. Later, he was seen recovering quickly to win his maiden London Classic title after defeating British Grandmaster Michael Adams in the fifth and final round. On the side-line of an event in his home town Chennai, Anand talked about leaving the past behind and accepting the defeat and moving ahead.
