With software of change, India builds hardware of progress: PM Modi
Singapore, Nov 23 (ANI): Asserting India’s pace of reforms Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said with the software of change, India is building hardware of progress. He said India is investing in people through their education, skill development and a special emphasis on girl child education. He also underscored the various reforms in laws, regulations and policies.He was delivering a lecture in Singapore as he in Singapore after a successful three-day visit to Malaysia. Trade, urban and skill development, defence co-operation and cyber security are expected to be high on his agenda during the Singapore visit. The two Prime Ministers will sign the India-Singapore Strategic Partnership to elevate bilateral relations and will also unveil a commemorative stamp to mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between two countries. The Prime Minister will lay wreath at the Indian National Army memorial marker and visit Institute of Technical Education which is involved in skill development. Before wrapping up his visit, Prime Minister Modi will address the Indian Diaspora in Singapore as around 3,50,000 ethnic Indians stay there, which is about 9.1 percent of resident population of the country.
