Women complete Pacific Ocean rowing adventure
A journey across the Pacific Ocean in a rowboat ends in Australia.
Family and friends cheered as Emma Mitchell, Natalia Cohen, Laura Penhaul and Meg Dyos stepped back onto dry land.
The women spent the last 235 days rowing across the Pacific Ocean.

“It was amazing to see them and I’m sure even more amazing for them to know that we’re here and we’re not going back on that boat.”

“We’ve had sharks circling, we’ve had a couple of sharks that followed us for a few weeks.”
Their feat began in San Francisco back in April of last year – and raised about 55 thousand U.S. dollars for women’s health issues, according to local media.
