Women from different faiths work together in stone breaking unit in West Bengal

Bakura, Dec 22 (ANI): For women in Tentulia village, stone breaking is their livelihood. After finishing their household chores, they assemble at a place and resume their work. Once the stones are broken into smaller portions, it is sent to a nearby market for sale. Tentulia is a medium sized village located in the Simlapal area of Bankura in West Bengal. It has a population of 1035 individuals of which 516 are males and 519 females, as per 2011 Census. The women belonging to different religions have set a perfect example of communal harmony, by working in a peaceful atmosphere.
